Unlike many traditional music studios that focus primarily on one-on-one instruction, JMOCSOM offers a unique small group learning environment. This approach allows students to receive personalized instruction while also gaining valuable experience performing and collaborating with other musicians.
Our beginner groups are intentionally kept small to ensure each student receives focused attention from the instructor while developing foundational skills in a supportive group setting. As students progress, advanced groups may include slightly more participants, allowing for more dynamic musical arrangements and exciting ensemble performances.
Even in our larger groups, class sizes remain significantly smaller than those typically found in traditional school settings, ensuring that every student continues to receive meaningful guidance, feedback, and opportunities for personal musical growth.
Upon registration, each student receives a complimentary consultation with one of our instructors. During this session, we will answer any questions, discuss your musical goals, and place you in the level that best fits your current experience.
As you continue your musical journey with our school, students are regularly evaluated and given opportunities to advance to higher levels, allowing for continued growth and progression in their musical development.
