Frequently Asked Questions

New to Cadenza? Here are the things families and students ask us most. Don't see your question? We'd love to hear from you.

We welcome all ages! From young beginners (around age 5) to teens and adults, there's a place for everyone at Cadenza. Many of our students are grown-ups who always wanted to learn an instrument — and we firmly believe it's never too late to start.
Absolutely. Adults are a big part of our community. Whether you're picking up an instrument for the very first time or returning after years away, we keep things relaxed, pressure-free, and built around your goals and your schedule.
We teach 6+ instruments, including guitar, piano, voice, and drums — with more available depending on the teacher. Not sure what to choose? Come in for a free trial and we'll help you find the right fit.
Both! Our signature small-group classes give you personal attention with the energy and motivation of playing alongside others. Prefer one-on-one focus? Private lessons are available too.
The easiest first step is to book a free trial lesson. You'll meet a teacher, try things out, and see if we're the right fit — no commitment required. Ready to jump in? Just hit Register Now.
Yes — your first lesson is on us. It's the best way to experience the Cadenza family, meet your teacher, and make sure it's a great fit before you enroll.
Not for your first lesson — we've got you covered. Once you enroll, we'll help you choose an affordable instrument or rental so you can practice at home. (Piano students can comfortably start on a keyboard.)
Head over to our Prices page for current rates. We keep pricing simple and transparent, with options for different programs, instruments, and ages.
We're a genuinely family-run school, not a corporate chain. The Morales family teaches alongside instructors who once started as our own students. Expect high standards, serious fun, and a warm community — with no tests, grades, or stress, just a real love of music.
Yes! We host recitals, showcases, and community events throughout the year. Performing is always optional but encouraged — it's a wonderful confidence builder. See our Events page for what's coming up.
Life happens! Let us know in advance and we'll do our best to arrange a makeup lesson. We'll walk you through the full attendance and makeup policy when you enroll.
